i've been getting disturbingly(/j) comfortable with colon-threeing lately.
random piece of fridge logic for the day: what does your player character in the Smash series see when staring down Mr. Game & Watch?
whenever i need to name a random pokemon (it happens more often than i'd expect), i'll always name Litwick. similarly, whenever i need to name a random Smash character i'll always name Mii Swordfighter.

i like the tiny blog as an idea because it lets me scream into the void as one would on Mastodon without needing to deal with anything Twitter-shaped. thanks, Nycki!
magic as a concept is kinda strange. like, i don't see why a culture in a world with magic would call their magic magic if they understand it about as well as we understand electricity. it'd just be How The World Works™ to them, no weirder than gravity and orbital mechanics and such. the "people in universe don't know any better than the audience" magic systems are definitely magic, it definitely looks like magic to people who don't practice magic, but i doubt your magic school teachers, whose literal jobs are analyzing magic, wouldn't see it as just How The World Works™.

as a straight ally, i find it pretty funny from a design perspective that the Progress Pride flag (especially the version with the intersex DLC) looks like that. every single element being a unique color is simultaneously very strange for a flag and suprisingly symbolic when thought of as representing the idea that everyone is unique. C tier flag overall, i definitely prefer the classic rainbow.

i've started a new mini blog at which you're looking right now! i'm considering moving the entire site to an Eleventy setup instead of Jekyll to let myself customize it more but making all the styling and such that goes into a website feels like a really big task.
surreal insults that leave the target questioning how it's supposed to be insulting are fun. like "you look like you main Mii Swordfighter".
